A Chinese porcelain chocolate pot and cover handsomely decorated with a well painted scene of a family in a garden in front of a house with distand mountain views, and with subsiduary panels of birds and landscapes,all on a gilt flower ground. The handle and spout are at right angles and painted in a strong iron red, the lid with further bird panels and with a fruit knop.
